As the physical demands on equine athletes continue to rise across all disciplines, veterinary care has advanced to meet the evolving needs of performance and soundness. Enhanced imaging modalities, including digital radiography and ultrasound, have significantly improved diagnostic precision. In parallel, regenerative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatments have expanded our ability to support tissue repair and recovery. With increasing expectations for training and competition, the field of equine sports medicine will continue to push the standard of care to ensure our equine partners remain healthy, sound, and capable of performing at their best.
